TRT 1 - It is Turkey's first national television channel, which started broadcasting on May 1, 1964, within the body of "Turkish Radio and Television Corporation". Like other TRT channels, TRT 1 broadcasts 24 hours a day. It broadcasts a short startup at 5:58 AM, where the TRT ident is shown, followed by the programme list for the day, and then the Turkish National Anthem is played. TRT 1 broadcasts in a large spectrum of programs ranging from news, music, entertainment, drama, sports to education and arts along with commercial breaks. The channel aired many world-known series for the first time in Turkey in the past. TRT 1 has a very enjoyable program list. It has different broadcast streams, including weekdays and weekends. In the nostalgia zone, it shows the repetitions of the series that were broadcast and finished on TRT 1 years ago. Leyla and Mecnun, Ferhunde Ladies, Number Seven, Uğurlugiller, Perihan Abla, Gülşen Abi, Yeditepe are among the series published in the Istanbul Nostalgia Zone.
